LOL yes you really could do with a laptop for it.
Jon the yellow wires are SRS wiring, if you wiggle that make sure the key is at least not in the car, but the normal fix for this is to wiggle the wiring around the throttle body, as if there is no movement at all then the whole loom has a problem, it has 2 channels for redundency an it's rare that both fail. They normally become jerky because the primary line keeps cuting and joining.
If there is still nothing then you need to pull the throttle body off and clean/check inside the black cover.
First though just remove the inlet pipe from the throttle body and podge the flap to gently open it slightly and release it slowly, then start the car again.
