147 Lowering Question

Thinking about getting my 147 Selespeed lowered by 30-35mm. Would it be worthwhile getting Koni dampers installed at the same time?

What difference would it make to the cars handling. BTW, my car has 225/35zr18 tyres at present.

I agree with Jomor. I had 17" wheels on with Eibach, the dampers lasted about 4-5 months before the car started bouncing more than usual. With 18", especially, you'll need to replace the dampers sooner or later, so you might as well do it now with the springs.

For best results, I would suggest you find a complete kit (springs & dampers). With Koni, you will need to fine-tune it to match the springs. And in case they don't match (as in Koni+Eibach+156 2.0TS), it's a waste of time and money.

If I'm not mistaken, KW has a full suspension kit (in 3 variants). Varian 2 has adjustable damper (rebound) which are made by Koni.
