My car goes in to get the belts and pump done on monday
Also to this i have asked for all the brake/clutch fluid to be renewed and the gearbox oil to be replaced.
This is to hopefully cure a notchy gear box and heavy clutch pedal
Now heres a thing i have noticed, when i have not driven the car for days the clutch feels light and the more i drive it in that day it gets heavier
Well today i pulled up off a slip road braking from 70 to a stop the brakes felt vague, this isnt a new thing but i notice it more with the heavier diesel compared to my twink.
So as i waited for a gap in traffic i pushed hard on the brake pedal it was spongy and with the second push it went hard, and felt better,
Then as i dipped the clutch this was noticably lighter and also felt right.
I tried this push brake pedal thing another 3 times on my way home and after each time the brake and clutch were more like they should be.
So does this look like a fluid change could do the trick
