Is it a Twin Spark?, I presume so at 8 Months old , it is a good a price, but bear in mind this will be one of the last few that were still for sale when the JTS came out. They were mainly imports and the Supermarkets were selling them at about £13K new. check the spec is UK, and be aware the Warrenty may be only 2 Years. You need to establish it's original source, UK or import.

Checked manuals and they all state 72k miles is when it is done. Mate of mine was told his was on his next one at 60k and also his pugs were done at 48k when manual says 60k.

The service shedule is still 72000 miles (I believe) for the Cambelt.
However Alfa UK are now recomending that the belt is changed at 3 years 36000miles due to the high number of belt failures before the 72000mile mark.
Some dealers seem to be suggesting that an inspection at 36000miles will do but in reality you would need to take the belt off to examine it so may as well replace it.
