its my friends car who lives 15 miles away.

he's not bother, i'm just curious as to why.

i've suggested fitting a lower strut brace to stop the sub-frame from spreading under load.

i'm glad this has you all thinking/discussing why its happening

If you fit wider wheels the extra wide is normally split inside/outside so its more balanced across the rim, which may be why they do not have the same side- effects.
