Anyone fancy coming to do it for me!
Will it still sound like a hairdryer?
i would if i lived nearer
most likely the AUX tensioner & belt need replacing.
All you need is a jack, axel stand, remove the wheel, prop up the car.
remove the access panel of the wheel arch
15mm 'long' ring spanner [ assuming you have Air Con ]
loadza brute force to rotate the BOTTOM section of the tensioner CCW approx 60 degs in order to remove the belt.
NOTE: Take note of the path/orination of the belt before removing
Then a 15mm 'swan neck' ring spanner [ assuming you have Air Con ] to open the idle pulley off.
The tensioner is held on my a 13mm, racket & socket job.
If you have already replaced the belt & tensioner, did you replace the idle pulley?
is the new belt sitting correctly into the V's of the pullies?
