156 cutting out

My 156 V6 has cut out at junctions a few times lately. The first time I thought I had just stalled, but it has happened a couple of times since. I pull up to a junction, try to set off but cannot as the engine has stopped. The warning lights dont come on and it starts straight away with the key.
Also the engine feels a little bit lumpy even for a V6, though I could be imagining it.
Any thoughts Guys.

try battery/alternator cause mine has its alternator ****ing up the electricity and the battery in the car and theyre saying that v6 may have short life alternators
other wise i would avise injectors unclean gas
maybe lambda sensor but far fetched
