Motor control system failure
I started to get "Motor control system failure" notification recently. I went to repair shop with it and the diagnose program indicated lambda sensor error on one of the upper sensors. They said that it would be wise to replace all of them because it is impossible to tell which sensor is actually faulty. They reset the warning notification and suggested that I drive with it a while and see if the warning would reappear. Well it didn't reappear and it didn't cost me a thing.
Sensor replacement could have cost at least 500€ but maybe even 1000€.
This was with 2003 2.0 JTS Selespeed.
