Its imported in Greece the last 2 months as a new high performance 100 RON petrol. Yes, 100 RON,
while in USA and Austalia is imported with 98RON. Soon other European countries will follow importing it with 98 or 100 RON, depending on emission regulations.
I wasn't excited when I heard about it because I used 98 RON "high performance" fuels in the past with no performance improvement, but I tried it.
Well guess what.. This fuel is amazing
The difference is quite impressive! The
The engine is more responsive, it feels more powerful like its remapped or something! Its more expensive than the standard 95 RON but the performance improvement is worthed.
And economy! I did 330Km with half a tank. Which means lets say at least 650Km whith a tank, mixed driving, highway and city.
A greek car site mentioned in an article that its ideal for engines like the new 156 JTS the performance of which depends much on the fuel's quality.
: Any reliability reasons not to use 100 RON at TS engines ???
