Once you "get going" in the JTD (well mine anyway) there is about 1000rpm between gear changes, so if it's been mapped to give loads of power between 3500 and 4500 then that might be ok ...

No print out yet, Waiting to get it on a rolling road.

1500 -1800 fairly normal, Smoother than before.
1800-3400 loads of creamy torque smoother than before with much better pull
3500-redline rev counter spins and speed goes stupid.

Would imagine the bhp curve peaks quite high now rather than @ 4000. torque feels flat across the range dropping off later than before. I can hold 5th at 30mph now without it feeling rough or gutless. 4th is still better at 30 though. Will give it a good run tomorrow and report back with other things like 50-70 and general feel.
