I had my 147 serviced 10 days ago, no problems, ran much smother afterwards.
Yesterday, soon after setting off there was only enough power to keep it going until just over 2000RPM after which it seemed pretty much like normal power. This happened a couple of times then went away but came back next time I started, it would pick up revs in neutral, but slowly, until 2000rpm was reached and the turbo cut in.
There's no obvious smoke and no warning lights but it seems as if fuel consumption might be a couple of mile per gallon worse than normal - over about 100 miles.
Symptoms don't seem like the EGR or MAF as reported elsewhere in the forums.
Update this afternoon. Wnt out and to start with symptoms were as described but then I started seeing a lot of black smoke when the power went away, it disappeared once it cut back in. Could it be a bad connection somewhere?
I don't know if the throttle is controlled by wire but again I'd expect that to prevent revs completely.
I can't go back to the specialist who serviced it until Monday, any suggestions in the mean-time?
