156 "Red Key" - is there such a thing?

Just a quick 'un. I know the 145 and 146 both that this "Ted Key" master-thing, but does the same apply to a 2002 156? Something we've just noticed - we never recieved one when we brought the car new, form an Alfa dealers...

No, the 156 doesn't have the maroon coloured master key. They only have 'normal' driving keys. Early 156s had bright red keys. 2001 onwards had black keys with flick out mechanism (and boot release.)

Not really relevant, but your query has just made me remember...

When I bought my GTV from the dealer I had to sign a separate form to acknowledge receipt of the maroon key. The dealer commented at the time that he has a lot of trouble getting 156 buyers to sign the form as they don't come with the maroon key! Really makes you wonder about these dealers doesn't it?!
