GT power/ electric window fault

Hi i have recently purchased an 04 gt jtd,i was wondering if there was anyway of telling if it has been remapped or the power increased in any other way.I have read about a few people saying they are not that powerful,but mine seems lightning quick my friend drove back in my old gtv 2.0 tspark and it left him for dead.The only issue i have with the car is that the drivers side electric window does not work i have tried a new switch but to no avail help required if poss!

Re-mapping is fairly "invisible", I believe. Without sicking it on a rolling road & getting figures, it would be tough to say for sure.
The GT JTD fans here will say that despite its modest bhp & 0-60 times, its the torque which makes it pretty swift & suprise some other car owners.
As for your windows, there have been a few threads on here recently about faulty window cures. One thing to try is to buzz both windows all the way down & hold the window switch down for 10 secs longer. This is a "reset" procedure, apparently. Another thread here mentioned electric window "nodes" which were replaced & fixed the issue.
