Newest Toy - Audio

Hey guys, here's the latest addition to my ever growing audio showcase. It's a new Clarion VRX-935VD. I also bought the TV Tuner, 5.1 Dolby Digital Processor and hide-away tv antennas that go under the dash and parcel shelf. The deck plays dvd, vcds, cds, mp3s with id3 tags, radio, tv, u can even save images for each mp3, so u can have a pic of the album on screen while its playing. The best feature tho is that they wired it to constant power, so ive got the screen on all the time

The Dolby processor is insane. The sound reproduction with my current JBL pro speakers and Alpine subs is awesome, better than my home Jamo/Focal system. Now ive started dl entire music videos instead of just the plain old mp3s, so i can have the clip playing while enjoying the song. Quite a fantastic novelty atm. Better still r the xxx movies played through the maccas drive thru, complete with female moaning replicated in dolby 5.1 digital sound laughing hell with the subs u can even feel the slamming!!!! ROFL wink

The deck also looks great closed, lights up green to match the dash, and is grey in color to match the console.

All up a great buy and huge crowd puller at just over AUS $5,800 fitted.

one step ahead of ya Ivo. However in Melbourne, its illegal to buy xxx porn dvds, so instead im relying on the free Kazaa network to fulfill my drive-porn needs.

Ive also bought alot of concert dvds, like destinys child, britney spears, jamirqouai, u2, kylie fever. Theyre pretty good to watch while driving. Its a bit distracting when i have my mates with me and theyre fiddling with the deck, but on my own it doesnt prove that distracting. Just get a whole lot more ppl peeking into my car while driving alongside em LOL.

hahahaha i was waiting for that one. Fuel level is fine. The guys at Clarion are smart folk, so theres a button which lowers the screen for 10secs, then returns back to original position so u can adjust HVAC or nething that the screens blocking. Even it if didnt have that function, screen closure is only a button press and 5seconds away, no biggie really wink

But if ur still anal about it, u can c clearly from this pic the fuel guage is totally visible from the drivers seat....the screen can move in and out, and adjust the angle so no probs

dave my car didnt come with the bose, just a **** 100buck philips deck and paper cone speakers. I replaced all my speakers with JBL Pros with JBL amps and a couple Alpine 12" subs. Replaced all the thin factory speaker wiring too with monster cable, all audison gold plated rca's, and dynomatted (sound deadened) doors, parcel shelf, boot, a/b/c pillars, roof and floor. Unfortunately i didnt have the hindsight to take pics, but my car was completely gutted inside, nothing but bare steal, quite an unnerving sight. Next project is already underway, im re-fibreglassing my boot with a huge back lit alfa symbol over the top of my spare tyre. Im currenlty sourcing some places to fabricate the perspex mutli-colored alfa symbol.....not easy unfortunately.

I had my first run in with a cop last nite, while on my way home with the boys. Got pulled over, breathlizer tested, and an inquisitive look from the cops face as he heard Rocco Siffredi utter the words "prova sausege con le peppe" accompanied with the appropriate female moaning laughing
