If you mean warrant the car i.e give a dealer's warranty the ansawer is a grey area.
If the dealer put's on the invoice "sold as seen no warranty given or implied, spare's or repair" he doesn't.
If they put "Trade Sale" etc it's a sticky wicket, he doesn't in theory but, i do know of trader's who have sold a car as Trade but ended up being taken to court and losing, in one case a Polo bought for £150.00with 110,000 mls.
Alway's make the point clear when buying a "Trade" car, especialy on paperwork.
