I just got a "brake fluid warning" today while turning a left-hand corner a bit rapidly. i never had this before so it must have been caused by the fluid movement.
to tell the truth i havent checked the reservoir but it makes sense that its a bit low since the front pads are nearly kaput. strangely - it has never given a low brake-pad warning.
so my q. is: should the 147 give a "low brake pad warning", or does it just give a low fluid warning, even when the pads are kaput?

You will only get the "low brake pad warning" if the senor on the left pad I think is installed properly. As for the "low fluid warning" I have also seen it come on if you left your handbrake on my mistake mean while you drive.
Anyhow you should change your Pads if there almost kaput dont let them get to the stage where they start to wear out your disks! thats a real no no!! naughty
