LED Bulb Replacements

Just in case anyone was thinking ("never replace again! Lower current drain") of replacing their filament brake, tail, indicator etc bulbs with the nifty little LED clusters that are now available, don't bother. In a weak moment I experimented with combined brake/tail, and indicator, replacements causing the bulb warning system and flasher unit to do the electronic equivalent of that woman in the Tom and Jerry cartoons who spent all her life standing on a stool trying to hit the mouse with a broom. The low current drain persuades Mr Electronics that a bulb has blown and he communicates the happy news to you whenever he gets the chance (which is always). Stick to filaments. I'll give the LEDs to my Dad for his N**san Al**ra (he is 76).
