I see my comment about my tyres lasting 35000 miles seem to have been received with disbelief. I assure you this is the case. They were Pirelli P6000 205/60R 1591Vs if anyone's interested!
The front pair on the car needed replacing at 35000. Hardly surprisingly I chose to replace them with identical tyres. I only had to replace the 2 original rear tyres last month, so they lasted just over 47000 miles (it's due its 48K service this month).
As I said, I do 95% of my driving on the M4 at a relatively constant speed, so they don't get much stick.
So, IS this a record? And do I win a prize?
