Re: Red Dot Racing
I would agree with the posts on the Ferodo pads, and on the posts praising Red Dot.
I have used both the DS2500's and the DSPerfs and found them excellent. I can't wait till the pads on my new bella are knackered so I can put some on.
Regarding Red Dot Racing, they did a brilliant rolling road-assisted tailor-made remap for me at their Alfa day last year - after a couple of weeks, I had problems with overboost though. The eventual solution involved a joint effort between Jamie Porter and themselves:
Jamie removed, dismantled and ultrasonically cleaned the turbo (apparently the variable vanes were sticking in some crud at the end of their now increased travel).
In the interim while we were trying to work out exactly what the problem was, Red Dot toned down the remap. When the turbo issue was sorted, Red Dot cheerfully and without question put the exact original remap back on my car. All the extra work was performed free of charge. Their remaps are brilliant and their after-sale care is excellent too.
