Just took her for a drive, all seems well, couldn't say the same for the w*nker in the P reg Merc that tried to race me?!?! still, I went out after doing the MAR resets etc, with the intention to let her rip a bit - only to find huge bloody traffic jams on the dual carriage way out of town towards the forest/motorway
so he kinda did me a favour!
Proof will be in starting her first thing and whether i need to further clean the MAF than I have today.
Brake pad wear light flashed up for the first time ever too, I know the rear brake discs need doing and figured the pads would too, this quite an easy job?
I'm well up for attempting it myself now I've started getting into pulling my car apart lol
I've also bought some filler for the small damage on the front bumper, so hopefully i can smooth that out nicely (one thing i WAS good at was Art
Three other things I need advice with:
1. still sounds like a diesel when cold (and after when idle tbh) so I'm guessing Variator?
2. temperature gauge still not stable, rises to just over 90 when sat in traffic jams or drive throughs - thermostat ?... and this leads onto.....
3. when the temp hits just over 90, she starts chirping - i did mention this in another thread, but i'll keep it all here, kinda embarrassing as it makes the car sound "OLD"!
