MCS Failure / EGR Valve etc...
I picked up my car from the garage on Monday where it had the EGR valve and the boost pressure sensor replaced as the MCSF light kept coming on intermittently under acceleration.
I have now had to drop it back as the light has come on again - any ideas why this may be??? I have already spent a sizable amount of money on getting the EGR valve replaced so I'm not up for any more surprises!
we also had a conversation about diesels in general and they said that diesels generally are not suitable for town driving and that I should have bought a petrol due to emissions sensors etc blocking up.
does anyone have any thoughts on this? as this is not the first time I have heard this - what cars, if any, are suitable for urban driving??
