Removing 'Motor Control Failure' warning

Guys, I own a '03 156 JTS and recently I had a bit of an issue with the uneven idle on start ups as well as sometimes the idle would be 'hunting around' when coming to a stop. Few days ago I had the 'MCSF' warning pop up and stay on the display.

I investigated it and found that one of the hoses going into the air intake pipe has split in half. I put it together with black silicone sealant and problem solved- the engine pulls like a train and the idle is always steady. But the annoying 'MCSF' warning has stayed on display every time I start the car (car is not in 'limp' mode).

Is there a way of removing the warning without going to dealers? I just don't wanna wait for an hour and get charged $50 for pressing 'clear' on laptop, cause I know what the problem was.

Re: Removing 'Motor Control Failure' warning

Don't you think that the warning is there for a reason and there is something else wrong with your engine management?
If the split hose was your only problem the warning would go out after 3 duty cycles.
