147 t spark , burning oil , changed the plugs and lots of oil in !st cylinder!
Hi Guys , I have noticed that my 2003 147 1.6 t spark is using quite a bit of oil . So the other day i thought i would investigate a little....I decide to have a look at the plugs and removed the first one (under the oil filler cap) and it was completely covered in oil when removed , not before (there was no spillage on top of it from topping up oil ). So looks like this could be my oil burning problem......What is this likely to be ? Seems like a gasket of sorts , would it be the cam cover gasket or is there a small gasket / seal for the spark plugs or would it be the inlet manifold ?....I have had a look at the 'how to' change a cam cover gasket and it looks like there is some sort of seal around where the plugs are ....help please guys !
