Well, when all comes to all, for the 1st time since I've had the car 'tis running right. It took so long 'cos when i first got the vnt/boost control valve working was happy enough to enjoy boost between 1500 & 2250. Then in Sep I was given the workshop slot for the level 3 apprentices so it was a good diagnosis project, when I could get some decent resources - i.e. Gendan's Italia Check and could talk to ecu. So during teaching measurement/diagnosis of all the engine management sensors they managed to trip it into limp home. Sussed that tonight I hope - mil light off for an hour so far, wiring fault between ecu & map sensor. Yesterday stripped the turbo and freed off the vanes so now have the full range of acceloration!
