Alfa 147 tail/brakelight change help

I searched the forums, but didn't find the solution. About a week ago my left tail/brakelight (I don't know how you call it, English is not my mother tongue) failed. I tryed to change it, but... I try to access it through the trunk, but the plastic holder in which the 2 lightbulbs are, won't come out. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice how to change the lightbulb on an Alfa Romeo 147? Thx for the help!

Re: Alfa 147 tail/brakelight change help

Hi, welcome,

the whole light has to be took off the car to replace the bulbs. Go into the boot area, pull back the carpet and then if I remember right, there are three nuts holding to light to the bodywork, undo these so the light comes away, undo the connector, then the whole light assembly can be taken away and the bulbs replaced.

Hope this helps.
