I agree with selespeed,sounds like good advice.
Engines do get used to driving styles after a
while,reminds me of my very first car......
I'd bought a mk two astra 1.3 off this little
old lady,she'd had it from new.
The car had obviously never been higher than 3rd
gear between her bungalow and sainsburys and back
again, and had done a genuine 46'000 miles (she loved shopping wink )
Cue me, i buy the car and adopt my regular driving
style (loud pedal to the floor,whats that middle one for) within 1000 miles i'd blown about half a dozen seals on the engine,was consuming more oil
than george best does alcohol,and was emitting a
kind of james bond type smoke screen from the rear.
