Re: Air Filter Replacement Help Please GT
I spent two hours trying to do this this evening.
Went to a friends garage, put the car up on ramps, removed undertray, tried various contortions, ended up totally frustrating myself the thing would not drop or open, it's a nightmare. Put it all back together, looked at it from the top, looks like the fuse box and battery need to come off, then the MAF and air box inlet pipe, then a couple of bolts and it should release the airbox, might do it tomorrow if I've got time, looks like it might be a long job!
Ah, by the way, I got my K & N brand new off eBay for £33 including postage.
Oh, and the Senior Mechanic at my mates garage said he's never seen anything like it, reckons Alfa should fit air filters for free providing you buy one from them because they've made it such a task to do...............................................
