Timing Belt Woes - Update
Getting there slowly, the guy who holds the warranty is currently sourcing a new (or nearly new) Engine as he believes it's more cost effective.
Because of betterment (I had 84k miles on mine) I'm probably gonna end up contributing towards some of the labour costs. So today's question
is how much, in terms of hours and cost would you think is reasonable to fit a new engine?
Quote so far is about £900 Ex Vat, which includes all the oil, filters PAS fluids etc. That is of course assuming that the Belt and tensioners
on the new engine are ok and don't need replacing, and that the Clutch if comes with one is Ok too.
