OK guys and gals!
Last year I had this funny problem with my Bella: opened the driver's window. Tried to close and nothing happened. It looked like the window didn't work/respond to me pressing the switch. The only thing I could hear is "click-clack" (no, not from the engine....that would be clicketiclack anyway
). After 30 minutes or so it worked fine.
About 4 weeks ago the same problem arose. Took the car to the garage and they had to take of the door panels to get the window up as the switch didn't seem to work. Made an appointment to get the unit with the window-switches replaced. The funny thing is that when using the same switch to operate the left rear window it works perfectly.
Last week I opened and closed the windows with my remote and.....the driver's window stayed open. I thought ****! I started the engine and the window worked normally! eek!
This morning I drove to work, opened the driver's window......and had to drive 35 minutes with it open as it didn't want to close. Pulled over at a gas station, restarted the engine, thought this might work.....and it didn't. Arrived at work, got out of the car to bring my stuff to the office. When I returned to the car (window was still open) to drive to the garage, I thought I'll give it a try.......AND IT WORKED!
Looks like waiting a couple of minutes before restarting the car helps.
Does anybody know what could be the problem? Maybe the motor that operates the electric window?
