Re: Keyed Already
On my old street all the car owners has their cars keyed (sometimes more than once) over a 12 month period.
We'd put it down to the local feral kids running and screaming about at the weekend. Ashamed to say we just got used to it, after spending/working too much money /time to sort the scratches out they'd re-appear after a short time.
My 75 was done from front wing to back wing via the doors (down to the metal).
We found out that it was the old gent (non-driver) who lived on the street that ran off ours. He taken it upon himself to TELL US? that we shouldn't park on the pavement. The street was quiet narrow and not everyone could park outside their own house, so we had an unwritten agreement that on one side of the street you parked upto the kerb, and on it on the opposite side, giving plenty of room for through traffic.
He didn't like this (the street is an old Victorian Terrace with VERY wide pavements) on his way home from 'the club', and only keyed cars on one side of the road, of course this changed from day to day and eventually he managed to get everyones!
He was caught and prosecuted and had some sort of suspended sentence or conditional discharge. He must have done well into the £000's of damage, and we all got bu99er-all from 'The Man'.
