Simon - the insurance has increased by about £200.
Rick - She hadn't done anything. To be honest, and you guys aint gonna like it, I was getting a bit bored of the performance of the 147. I still love the overall shape of the car and the interior, leather, BOSE etc but it was damn slow!! Before I got the Alfa I had a Peugeot 106 GTI (which was a bit like a go kart - quick, nimble..) and I knew the Alfa was a lot slower but I thought I could deal with it - I was wrong. Anyway it got to the point where I was admiring other cars (Seat Leon Cupra R, Renault Clio 172, Subaru Impreza etc) and I decided to order the Cupra R brochure. I liked the car but the girlfriend didn't like the look of it or the interior etc so I mentioned the other thing I would really like to do was visit Autodelta and thats how we got here.
Magior - No, they haven't been working on it daily but the Saturday before I went on holiday was the only time I could drop it off. The car is actually all converted and running sweet at the moment. The main delay is that Autodelta are waiting for the 'stone chip film' to turn up as I have asked for this to be put on. Also I am having a full J12 conversion, including the body kit (apart from rear spoiler), not just the turbo fitted. Autodelta will also be servicing the car as well.
I hope this answers all the latest questions!!
