it is absolutely true about time loss but(!!) - try to look at it this way:
after you drive a certain sector and feel the sys interfering, you can understand what was wrong with your driving so its could act as your personal guide!
of course you should know how it works and regarding you have EBD - you can replace the act of the VDC by yourself most times (because the right wheel will always brake as it needs to).
i dont drive a circuit so time is not important here.
