yep, after just 6 laps (very small track, and we did was 3 "rounds" of 2 laps each, if you know what i mean.) the front tires look like they've been through some hard work! eek!
it's not normal wear (like when they get flattened), but the sides of the thread/ part of the sidewall is all cupped/rough, all round eek!
i was hoping this would wear down soon eek! wink
hehe, didnt try it with the Merc but i wouldnt want to anyway!
1) i would have to do it REALLY slow because i would be thrown out of the seat in the first coner, LITERALLY! the seats are comfy but provide no side support whatsoever! even for normal road-driving, it wont let you take corners fast, unless i hold really tightly against the wheel / gearleaver eek!
2) it doesnt handle too well, so i would be risking it.
3) i dunno why else, but i just dont dont have any interest to do so. it doesnt give you any fun to drive, so whats the point in wearing down the tires / revving the hell out of her, if you get no fun back?
4) i nearly forgot.
the brake-pad-warning light has been on these last 2 weeks LoL! so it would be *quite* risky
will replace them as soon as exams are over - till then i would have to use engine braking a lot! eek! wink
PS: I WANNA DO THAT AGAIIIINNNNN!!!!!! rant
