now 2 hours have passed.
I connected the laptop, stoopid thing kept dropping A/d connection but any time it did stay connected for a while P1741 & P1742 errors were always there & the flashing red warning light wa son too.
The pump pressure was from 47 to 53 bar.
the clutch rod was 37mm .... didn't get to adjsut it, i assume its only a matter of shortening it to 28mm
the car would select 1st & 2nd & reverse, with the wheel off.
when we went to drive it it would only go FORWARDS, had to pull it back up a hill with my car
within A/d there IS a Bleed Clutch funtion, Calibration, EOL but to be honest my laptop was acting up soooooooo much it was impooible to get those routines to run successfully.
so now i'm back home wondering what next to do?
I would like to know what sensor/s can cause these P1741 & P1742 errors?
the 'speed' sensor was removed in order to check it wasn;t damaged, so maybe its not back in far enough .... or does its position matter ... its definitely tight
the custome ris going to check its resistance tomorrow
IIRC with the original actuator fitted it also showed these P1741 & P1742 errors so, in my mind, nothing on the replacment actuator is causing these errors.
I'm open to correction & suggestion how to trouble shoot this problem.
Any with a selespeed care to remove the speed sensor connector to see what error it creates?
