the MaP sensor was removed and cleaned, which did improve things as it was pretty clogged, but it hasn't been replaced. MaF was brand new 2 weeks back.
the over boost module you refer too, i take it this is the same as the VNT controller? (bolted to the slam panel by the radiator) that was also replaced in the last month.
Ive had the EGR off and cleaned, twice! ive also run with it totally blocked off with a bit of coke can as you said, still made no diff.
Actuator looks pretty simple, no connections or sensors on it, so guess its the same as the 10v.
your help and suggestions are really appreciated, i really want to get to the bottom of this as is ****ing me right off! was really hoping to find an obvious fault with the turbo, so at least i new i had found the source of my probs!
decided im gonna go ahead and clean the turbo anyway now ive come this far. so will follow that pdf and go get me some Nuclear Grade AntiSieze, as that sounds like a product any real man should own...
Edit - you mention re-map, any easy way i can find out if it is mapped? i got uni diag working on the laptop, so if not i'll go make a log of boost psi and see if its above std once all is back together
