Yeah the Forward tansverse arm, its not a recognised jacking point, The front of the trailing arm is though. If they argue tell them that it is compusory for all 4 rods to be done at the same time. This is so you don't have uneven wear in the bushes from side to side and prevents the rear wandering.
OK, they are liable, contact trading standards and MITA they should be members, don't settle for anything less that all 4 rods replaced and tracking, If they wont then tell them it's £500 worth of parts and labour they owe you and your taking the car somewhere COMPETENT (I can do it if your brave enough to drive this far), That should upset them.
