Aftermarket warranty

Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a 147 diesel sometime this year. On my budget I am probably looking at a 2004-2005 model. What are your views on aftermarket warranties such as Warranty Direct or Warrantywise? I have never bothered with aftermarket warranties, but being new to Alfa's I want to ensure I am covered for any niggling problems. Are they worth it? Has anyone taken one out for their Alfa and claimed on it? Thanks for the advice.

Re: Aftermarket warranty

I've just taken one out on my 147 with AA and the cover seems really good for about £200 ish but I havent claimed yet.

In the past I had an aftermarket warranty on a fiat and had to claim on that when the indicator / steering wheel block went wrong and that was pretty painless.
