Too cold for Alfas
Mine last week started 2 new 'Characteristics'.
1) The rear O/S door froze up. I know how to fix this. You wipe the rubbers with WD40 and then the ice doesn't stick. Except it didn't work. After scratching my head on the third morning I noticed that the central locking button was slightly lower than the other side. A slight pull and it was open. The confusion was caused by it working one I got to work. I had reasoned that the ice was melting. But it was just the lock needing to be a little warmer!
2) The ABS light comes on if one of the wheels spins a little too much. But only when it's cold. Spin them on slush and nothing happens. Of course you have to stop and restart so that it goes through it's checks because you don't have ABS once the light is on. (I did try it!)
