This is the same update just incase anyones keeping an eye on this thread and maybe has the same prob:
Ok guys heres the update, Alfas paperwork reads:
Investigated non start, found timing belt had snapped. Removed cylinder head and found the valves bent. Replaced cylinder head, timing belt kit, timing variator, phase sensor annd water pump!!!
Head gasket kit
timing belt kit
coolant and oil. parts at £1067+vat+labour(3days), investigative repairs 3 hours at £80 per hour, £240
I know you're all dying to find out what the total was lol, i am still in complete shock at this but it did not cost a single penny!!
