Remove all preconceptions and have a throb about.
I have said it before, and I'll say it again. I didn't really want a TurDi, but decided I would be ignorant to ignore all the good press about them, so I test drove a JTD with a completely open mind. If I didn't like it, I would have got a JTS for the same money.
BUT, it was fan-bleeding-tastic. Sounded good, went like a train and was very easy to drive smoothly in traffic. The bottom line is, I would have been stupid to have bought a 156SW with the JTS engine in it.
I get more driving pleasure from my JTD than my 2.0 TS.
I can cover ground far far quicker than my 2.0 TS.
I can sit on the motorway much more quietly than my 2.0 TS.
I don't feel I have lost out at all, but have gained significantly on a number of grounds.
