Raising my 156's front suspension

Due to living somewhere with terrible roads, I just wondered if there was a way to raise the ride height (a bit)?
I get it back from the garage on Saturday, I don't want to knacker it again in my enthusiasm (I've spent more time on the bus than I have driving it)

Re: Raising my 156's front suspension

Not going to be that easy as unlike the saloons the Sportwagon didn't come with lowered springs options ... otherwise you could swap to the standard height. There are some rings on the market for putting under the springs at the rear which helps when towing which might help, but I don't think there is much for the fronts ...

I used to scrape my 156 saloon on speedbumps a lot and it made a big difference when I replaced the lower arms .. the rubber bushes get soft and the car drops even further. New arms at the front might be the answer ... not a cheap fix though.

cheers, Gary
