Re: Not a happy Alfa Owner
i had the same problem with the sideskirts on my Alfa , it was caused by lifting on the 4 arm hoist that garages sometimes uses and not pulling the outer shaft on the arms out far enough and your sideskirts are taking the full weight of the car on the sleeves.
I went to pick my car up and when i got there it was still on the arms and low and behold the skirts had popped in exactly the same place as the arms were. The owner said it was like it before it came in , but had to retract the statement when i actually showed him what was happening. I would go and stand your ground and say that it was damaged at his garage and you will speak to a solicitor about this unless he repairs it. Quite often they will back down and repair it as its a lot less hassle and cost than a battle with a solicitor.
If you have any very recent pictures before the damage that will help too.
At 10,000 rpm , no one can hear you scream.
