remapping of a 147 Selespeed by Autodelta
At the previous 147 Meeting two selespeed's have been remapped by Jano from Autodelta. Here are the comments from one of the two 147 Selespeed owners (the other one is Johnny):
"The first thing I noticed was the throttle response, it is far more direct due to the remap. This feature alone makes the remap worthwhile. Furthermore I have the idea that there is a bit more torque beyond 4,000 rpm. Above 5,000 rpm and full throttle it feels like the engine response is even better. You will get a kick in your back and the rev counter really flies to 7,000 rpm and you will have the feeling the engine likes to rev even more.
Strange enough the throttle has to be pushed more to activate the quick shift mode above 5,000 rpm. And I like that. Sometimes you want to accelerate pretty quick without going all the way. Pushing the pedal so far that you hear a nice sound from the car and shifting gears at 5,500 rpm. This was not very fluently in the quick shift mode and goes much better now. But if you want to go all the way and push the pedal to the metal and shift gears at around 6,500 rpm the engine pick up much better then before. For me the remapping is absolutely worth the money."
