Well I did diagnose this correctly by listening to it over the phone, some noises are just so distinctive.
Crank worn beyond repair
#2 conrod big end worn beyond limits
#2 big end shell 0.2mm thick (should be 10 X that)
2 X slightly bent inlet valves (#2)
4 X cracked coil packs (repairable)
Weeping clutch slave (repairable),
Leaking diff seals (only 200ml drained from the gearbox),
Leaking gearbox mainshaft seal.
Lower suspension arms front and rear bushes perished (can spin the brackets round freely and N/S rear bracket was crossthreaded when fitted.)
Upper L/H arm balljoint worn
L/H pad wear indicator cable snapped (repairable)
Nothing there though that can't be fixed though.
