Have you considered trying other kits like H&R, Sachs, or Novitec, or Auto Delta? I have Eibach on my 156s and I'm not all that impressed. I rode in a friend's 156 with H&R springs, his car seemed better sprung with better ride quality, less bouncy characteristics.
I've own two cars (156 and Nissan 200SX) with Eibach springs installed, and I've never been impressed. I have had better experience with H&R springs in Mitsu Eclipse, Honda Integra, and Volvo V70.
In fact, I'm about to replace my Eibach+Koni set up with Sachs kit tomorrow! I can't wait, I've been told Sachs is also quite good on 156.
