Re: decision made....

I'd start with the Q2 and obviously the service at the same time, this allow you to put the power down on the road that you've got, once settled you can then work out whether you want to focus on the straight-line speed (exhaust and remap) or the handling and look at the Konis/whatever.

Much as I love engine performance, IMHO the roads in the UK are just too congested to really push the limits of my JTD, let alone a V6. Suspension/power delivery (such as Q2) is going to provide better & safer thrills every day without emptying the wallet everytime you put your foot down. Furthermore with a well-sorted car around the bends you can better hone your driving skills, any numpty can weld their foot to the floor in a straight line, trying taking a corner at speed!

My preference would be do the brakes at the same time as the suspension, but at the latest at the same time as upping the engine power; More power=More speed = Longer stopping distances = higher tempreatures = More break fade and you're more likely to end up in a hedge! I realise that I'm sounding a bit preachy but never under estimate how grateful you'd be when you've got a car that will stop on its nose at any speed when that granny steps out (this happend to me in my boss's M5).

Suspension is certainly next on my list when I have the pennies
