Re: GT Fuse Box Location - Fuse for wipers
Thanks very much, but they actually started working again last night! Strange, as I didnt do anything, and I had already tried them on wed morning, 12hrs after they first broke, so it didnt seem to be a matter of time alone or anything.
As I didnt have the fuse diagram, I did pull out and check all of the 30a fuses - there were 3 of them. They all seemed fine, so I popped them all back in but put each fuse back in a different socket to the one I'd taken in out of (to see if a fuse was gone in some way that wasnt immediately visible) Did this on tues night (a few hours after they broke) and it had no immediate impact, but perhaps it helped a bit.
The only other thing is that the first time i noticed them starting to work again was when I got out of the car for a few mins but left the wiper stalk in an on position. I locked the car and everything, then came back a few mins later and restarted the engine with the stalk still in the on position. As soon as i did this the wipers started going again. Dont know if this was just concidence or whatever, but its worth trying if this ever happens to anyone else.....
Thanks for the help!
