When they did the bar, did they replace the tie-rods, made a noticeable difference on mine (only cost £15 and cost £15 in labour).
Paul, my reason for fitting the bar/bushes is to prevent side to side movement/lumpy feeling over rough roads. When u fitted the bar, do the bushes prevent the bar from moving side-side. With the wheel off if u apply some force to the wheel hub, the bar moves more than it should, is yours the same. Also like Harps (although not as much from previous posts), my car on motorways has a tendency to roll from side-side a bit/a bit unstable. I am therefore hoping replacing bushes/bar will rectify the problem.....Last but not least on your old bar, had the bushes deteriorated, and could they be removed easily (or do they need to be pressed). I am thinking of ordering some Superflex generics and machining them to fit the Alfa clamp (from the diagram this looks eliptical in shape, or is it like a U clamp).
