Re: snow and BMW
The wife complained she could not get her c-class merc off the drive.
Your revving it too hard, easy does it in the snow and try slowly back and forth movements.
After the keys hit me in the face I offered to move it!
She was right it would not shift and using all my snow driving advice, I still managed to slide off the drive and into a flower bed.
The car was axle deep in mud and actually on its belly.
I tried digging it out, sacks, matting and planks of wood but nothing would budge it.
After an hour I admitted defeat and called some pals round who actually lifted the car out of the hole I had made.
It is the worst car I have ever driven in snow and this is the most basic lowly powered manual car. God knows what an amg with auto box would be like.
My alfa on the other hand is fab in the white stuff!
