I asked a friend of mine who supplies rare cars to the film industry and who shows many of his vehicles. Autoglum used by very few detailers especially for dark colours. Zymol is popular as its readily available. Zaino is available mail order from US & Germany. He coats each vehicle only twice a year and washes with water, nothing else.
use what works for you. Autoglum on my black car is terrible, but my wife has a red car, my son a silver9into his detailing big time) and my daughter that disgusting citroen mango yellow. Cant tell the difference much on any of them except the Zaino beads water when the others have long given up.
There are many detailing mags in the US he tells me, all of which favour Zaino, but there could well be advertising issues there.
It does last forever - I hate cleaning the car so its great for me, but if you like the autoglum three stage process on a weekly basis, then you good luck to you.
